Punjab law minister slams Fazlur Rehman for anti-army remarks
Punjab Law Minister Rana Iqbal Khan has attacked the language used by Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) chairman Maulana Fazlur Rehman in his comments against the Pakistan Army, requesting that he withdraw his comments and apologise to the nation.
Addressing a public meeting in Phool Nagar, Rana Iqbal Khan asked the JUI-F chief to withdraw his remarks immediately and apologise.
The provincial minister also appreciated the performance of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government and said the administration was working to fulfill the promises given to the public.
He said that a significant development project in Phool Nagar will be a major milestone for the local people.
Rana Iqbal Khan added that it was the desire of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to take the development efforts and benefits to each and every city of the province.
