Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Urs is declared a public holiday in Sindh.

In honor of the yearly Urs of the well-known Sufi saint Hazrat Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai (RA), the Sindh government has made July 29 a public holiday throughout the state.

All provincial government offices and semi-government establishments will be closed on this date, according to an official announcement.

The announcement further said that the public holiday will be observed by autonomous organizations, local councils, and educational institutions across Sindh.

On the 14th of Safar in the Islamic calendar, the annual Urs of Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai is customarily celebrated with intense religious devotion. The primary festivities take place in Bhit Shah, where thousands of devotees from all across the nation attend the three-day memorial events.
