Development work on the I-16 Sector is ongoing, Federal Information Minister Ataullah informed the assembly during question hours.
According to him, electric buses on feeder routes will connect Sector I-16 to N5 Highway metro stations by January 2025. The minister stated that the metro service is already available at the airport and in Rawalpindi, Islamabad.

The “My Islamabad” app is being released under Smart City, he said. All of the facilities are accessible to all citizens through this app.
