Pakistan’s IT and telecom sectors were promoted at the ITCN Asia Tech Festival with the support of the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and the Special Investment Facilitation Council.

The Chamber presents cutting-edge IT products and opens up business prospects for foreign investors.

The chamber, which was represented by more than 200 global corporations, was honored for its contributions to economic growth. By 2028, Pakistan’s IT exports are expected to be worth between $10 billion and $8 billion, with an annual growth potential of $6 billion.

By 2030, digitization could generate an estimated 35 billion dollars in economic benefits.

Overcoming obstacles in the industry requires addressing the skills gap in infrastructure, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence.

The government, commercial sector, and academic institutions must work together to fully realize the potential of Pakistan’s IT sector.
