With an emphasis on the Ministry of IT and Telecom and PPRA, the government has issued directions to speed up the digitization of procurement processes.

The objective of this effort is to improve government function transparency and operational efficiency. These steps are anticipated to greatly increase efficiency throughout Government Agencies by using the cloud services procurement framework for all future procurements.

It is the responsibility of MD PPRA to expeditiously complete the approval procedure for this system and guarantee its worldwide implementation.

In the interim, initiatives are being made to move the 5G spectrum license auction forward. In order to clear the regulatory obstacles in the way of Pakistan’s rapid adoption of 5G technology, the Law Division has been directed to accelerate the decision of outstanding 5G matters in the Islamabad and Sindh High Courts.

The Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Affairs has contributed Rs 235 million to the Pakistan startup fund, which will further stimulate the technology industry.

Furthermore, the E-Rozgar Program, which prioritizes young entrepreneurship and the development of digital skills, has been allocated Rs 229 million.

These projects highlight cooperative efforts to address persistent problems and advance governance transparency within Pakistan’s developing IT and telecom sectors, and they represent major advancements made possible by the SIFC platform.
