Gold prices in Pakistan experienced a continuous increase for the second session on Thursday, reflecting the upward movement in global markets.

According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of gold per tola increased by Rs1,000, reaching Rs243,300.

The price of 10-gram gold also increased, going up by Rs857 to reach Rs208,590. Following a prior surge on Wednesday, the price per tola increased by Rs800.

On Thursday, the global gold market experienced an increase in value. Based on the APGJSA, the worldwide cost reached $2,355 per ounce, which consisted of a $20 additional charge, resulting in a $10 rise throughout the course of the trading day.

Conversely, the prices of silver in the local market remained constant at Rs2,850 per tola, indicating no fluctuation from the prior values.

Market observers link the increase in gold prices to a range of variables, such as volatility in the global market, currency exchange rates, and economic conditions. The ongoing surge in gold prices is likely to impact investment choices and consumer behavior in the near future.
