The discovery was disclosed by the Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) in a letter to the Pakistan Stock Exchange.
At a time when energy demand is increasing, the letter emphasized how this discovery might strengthen the nation’s gas supplies and improve energy security.
According to the letter from OGDCL, both federal and Sindh firms have a 2.5% ownership stake in this business.
In order to alleviate the nation’s current energy crisis, which has been made worse by increased usage and shifting prices, experts have stated that boosting this gas supply is essential global energy prices.
