After receiving numerous complaints in Sindh province, the committee was established to investigate the issue of ghost instructors.
In addition, sources indicate that a substantial number of educators are currently on extended leave abroad.
In response to the report’s findings, the secretary has instructed all district education officers (DEOs) to promptly suspend the salaries of absent teachers, with official notifications being issued.
Previously, the education department of Sindh dismissed eight ghost instructors from the province.
A total of eight teachers, including Akbar Leghari, who were currently living abroad, were terminated from their positions. For the previous two years, the instructors who were terminated were in receipt of salaries.
In addition, the secretary stated that the ghost instructors are being emphasized by the Taluka education officers throughout the province.
The secretary issued a warning regarding the impending severity of the consequences for the ghost instructors.
