Speeding van crashes into parked bus on Swat expressway, 11 dead
At least 11 persons were killed and seven more injured when a passenger van and a bus collided on the Swat Expressway.
The van driver was negligent and driving carelessly, Motorway Police authorities said. The speeding van smashed with a bus stopped on the roadside, authorities said.
The bus was going from Karachi to Buner and the van from Rawalpindi to Dir.
Rescue squads and Motorway Police police arrived the location soon after the incident was reported. The dead corpses and injured were shifted to Mardan Medical Complex for treatment and additional operations.
