Strengthening Relations: President To Increase Trade Volume With Kyrgyzstan

President Asif Ali Zardari has emphasized that in order to fortify economic relations and advance shared prosperity, Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan must increase their bilateral trade volume by emphasizing trade in value-added products across a range of industries.

The President stated that Kyrgyzstan may gain from the Karachi and Gwadar ports in his conversation with Akyibek Zhaparov Usenbekovich, the chairman of the Kyrgyz republic’s cabinet, who visited him alongside a delegation during the SCO council of heads of government meeting in Islamabad.
The President also stated that the government wants to work with Kyrgyzstan on all areas of shared interest.

He expressed his appreciation to Kyrgyzstan for helping Pakistan win the election to the UN Security Council’s non-permanent seat.

During the meeting, Akyibek Zhaparov Usenbekovich shared his opinions, stating that Kyrgyzstan has always placed a high priority on fostering commerce with friendly nations.
