With Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal in the chair, the Tenth Executive Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council met in Islamabad.
It was learned on this occasion that the provinces, through the Special Investment Facilitation Council, were crucial in highlighting the government’s position on luring foreign investment into the nation.
In important areas falling under SIFC’s jurisdiction, the Ministries in question provided updates on projects and policy initiatives. A thorough framework to support the upcoming initiatives was also offered by them.
In the approaching meeting of the apex committee, the committee also cleared the path for the decisions that the upper echelon of the organization would need to make.
All provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, and Gilgit-Baltistan had their cross-sectoral features assessed, and pertinent stakeholders expressed consensus on important cross-sectoral areas.
