Defence Minister Khawaja Asif stated that sustainable growth cannot occur as long as disasters like those in Gaza are perpetuated by the developed world.
During the ‘Summit Of The Future’ in New York, the Defence Minister stated that the adaption of the future agreement signifies our united resolve to address the global challenges of security and development that jeopardize current and future generations.
He stated that the agreement provides over one hundred poor nations with the opportunity to rejuvenate development and overhaul the inequitable international financial economic system.
He stated that to bridge the four trillion dollar finance gap for sustainable development goals, it is imperative to honor existing promises to official development assistance.
