The Elections Act (Second Amendment Bill) 2024 is now formally a law after President Asif Zardari’s signature. The National Assembly and the Senate had earlier approved the law with a majority of votes.
The law had passed both legislative houses and was delivered to President Zardari by the Senate Secretariat for his signature. The law has officially finished the legislative process with the president’s signature.
