He further recommended that technical training be provided to the support staff of these hospitals, and that ECG training be given to lady health visitors and other staff members.

In March of the following year, she instructed concerned officials to finish the construction and restoration work on health centers, citing important decisions made to further the province’s health system reforms.

She announced the establishment of integrated thalassemia centers in the District Headquarters Hospitals.

Maryam Nawaz guided the quick operationalization of endoscopy and laparoscopy services and placed emphasis on improving security in hospitals.
