The president and prime minister honour the security services for eliminating fourteen terrorists in Balochistan.
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Tuesday lauded the security forces for carrying out a successful intelligence-based operation (IBO) against terrorists of Indian proxy Fitna al-Hindustan in Naal area of Basima district, Balochistan.
The timely and effective operation stopped the malicious objectives of the terrorists and was a reflection of the professionalism of the state institutions and the nation’s unflinching resolve against terrorism, the president added.
President Zardari lauded the courage and sacrifices of the security forces and appreciated their success of destroying 14 Indian backed terrorists, a press release of President Secretariat Media Wing said.
President added that the ongoing operations against anti-state elements are crucial for national security and for bringing peace and stability in the country.
He also expressed profound grief over the killing of Lance Havildar Muhammad Abbass and said that the sacrifices provided by the valiant sons of the soil for the defence of the nation would never go waste.
While appreciating the security forces for elimination of 14 terrorists during the operation, the prime minister also paid respect to Lance Havildar Muhammad Abbass of Pakistan Army who embraced martyrdom while heroically confronting the terrorists.
He prayed for the elevation of the martyr’s ranks in Jannah and expressed his profound condolences to the bereaved family, the PM Office Media Wing said in a news statement.
Under the vision of Azm-e-Istehkam, he continued, “the security forces are making big achievements in the war against terrorism.
The prime minister reiterated the government’s determination to remove all forms of terrorism from the country.
