On Monday, March 11, the local market maintained the constant price of 24 carat gold in Pakistan, which stands at Rs230,200.
The All Pakistan Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA) provided rates showing that the 10-gram gold was sold at Rs197,360, which was the same as the previous closing.
As of 09:56 GMT, spot gold was little changed at $2,180.75 per ounce, having climbed to a record of $2,194.99 for the fourth straight session on Friday due to statistics showing a slowdown in the US labor market.
In the meanwhile, the foreign exchange rate remained at $2198.
At $2,186.60, US gold futures remained stable.
