The Punjab government has a GP Fund profit rate of 12.05%.
For the fiscal year 2025–2026, the Punjab government has declared a 12.05 percent annual profit rate on the General Provident Fund (GP Fund) of public employees.
The Punjab Finance Department states that during the fiscal year 2025–2026, General Provident Fund deposits will be subject to the new profit rate.
The profit rate, which was 12.46 percent for the fiscal year 2024–2025, has been lowered by 0.41 percentage points.
The heads of autonomous and semi-autonomous organisations, as well as all development authorities, have received an official notification from the Finance Department about the updated GP Fund profit rate.
The government underlined that employees whose relevant fund regulations specify a different profit rate will not be subject to the 12.05 percent rate.
