A representative from the Ministry of Religious Affairs stated that the meeting will take place at the Pakistan Meteorological Department office in Karachi. The meeting will be presided over by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee.
Meetings of the zonal and district Ruet-e-Hilal committees will convene that evening at their designated headquarters.
