The majority of Balochistan is still experiencing extreme heat, but a new monsoon rain system is expected to arrive today (Wednesday), according to the Meteorological Department.
The heat index is still Sibi 48, Torbat Nokundi 47, and Gwadar 43 in several parts of Balochistan, including Quetta. Quetta reported a maximum temperature of 38 degrees.
There will be significant rain in the Lasbela district, according to PDMA Control Room Incharge Ameer Ahmed.
The monsoon rains of this year will have a greater effect than those of 2022, predicts the PDMA.
Up until July 7, the second monsoon season will last.
