In light of the fact that today is World Youth Skills Day, it is imperative that young people receive the education and training required for entrepreneurship, employment, and dignified labor.
“Youth skills for peace and development” is the event’s theme this year.
The day also serves as a call to action for governments, educational institutions, businesses, and other organizations to increase their funding for youth-focused programs, training, and education that will improve their employability and readiness for the workforce.
UNICEF asks partners and stakeholders to come together on World Youth Skills Day and make investments to provide youth with the knowledge and resources they need to succeed and effect change for a more prosperous, peaceful, and sustainable future.
Pakistan’s future is largely dependent on the enormous potential for economic growth and development of its youth population, which ranks fifth in the world.
The extraordinarily youthful population of Pakistan is not only eager for success but also clever and skilled enough to completely change the country’s economic environment for the better.
