Traders protest the KP government’s “ignoring” of public issues.
Peshawar’s business community protested the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration by holding lengthy marches and sit-ins to voice their disapproval of its political actions.
At Provincial Assembly Square, a sizable group of traders staged a protest rally and screamed anti-provincial government slogans.
The demonstrators accused the government of concentrating on political demonstrations rather than resolving the province’s administrative and economic issues.
The shopkeepers stated that instead of planning protracted marches and sit-ins, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration should put more emphasis on resolving public and business-related issues.
They stressed that the province is dealing with challenging economic circumstances, businesses are struggling, and job opportunities are still scarce.
