Turkiye, Egypt, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia condemned on Sunday “hostile” Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia included a deadly strike on Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport on Saturday.

In a joint statement, the four countries said they “strongly condemn the continuing hostile attacks carried out by the Houthi militia against the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, including the heinous attacks on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh, which resulted in the death and injury of civilians, in addition to damage to civilian infrastructure and facilities, which constitute a flagrant violation of international law.”

The countries called the attacks a “dangerous escalation” and a direct threat to the security and stability of Saudi Arabia and the protection of citizens.

The attacks “are not justified or acceptable under any pretense,” they said.

The four countries affirmed their solidarity with Saudi Arabia and support whatever legal actions it takes to fight the attacks, discourage threats and prevent their recurrence.

They also stated the Houthis were “fully responsible” for consequences of the strikes and any fallout that endangers regional and international peace and security.

The countries demanded that the attacks end “immediately and unconditionally.”

An Indian national was injured and died on Sunday, taking to 13 the number of those killed in Saturday’s Houthi attack on King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh. The blast also injured 309 people, Saudi police claim.
