Pakistan’s internal political problems will remain unaffected by US intervention, according to US policy.
Spokesman for the State Department Matthew Miller said at a press conference in Washington that Congress has been recommended $101 million in aid for Pakistan by the Biden Administration.
In order to help stabilise Pakistan’s economy, he said that aid would be provided to the country in the form of debt reduction, economic reforms, and support for the fight against terrorism.
Donald Lu claimed yesterday that President Joe Biden had asked for assistance from Pakistan during a meeting with a committee of the US House of Representatives.
