Staying true to its tradition of experimenting with new ideas and introducing new features or improving the old ones, popular messaging platform WhatsApp is once again rolling out a new feature to further enhance its user experience.
The Meta-owned platform has finally introduced a sticker maker tool via the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 24.1.10.72 update which is available to some beta testers who can access it on the TestFlight app.
The feature provisions customisability as it allows users to create stickers within the platform itself without the need for any third-party applications, reported WABetaInfo.
Users now have the choice to make their own customised sticker by selecting one from the conversation.
The platform launches the drawing editor when a picture is chosen from the library, and it highlights the subject of the picture automatically.
It’s important to note that users can also edit already-existing stickers by choosing the “Edit sticker” action, giving them more flexibility and customisation choices and improving their ability to express themselves in conversations.
By choosing the share action, users can turn shared images into stickers.
With the addition of the ability to make stickers directly within WhatsApp and the ability to eliminate background while editing stickers, users can now easily and rapidly create and modify stickers without the need for additional software.
Some beta testers who have installed the most recent WhatsApp beta for iOS from the TestFlight app can access the new sticker maker tool, and more users will be able to access it in the upcoming weeks.
