Woman, 3 children killed in AC compressor explosion

Authorities say the wife and three children of a policeman killed when an air-conditioning compressor detonated at their home in Dera Murad Jamali.

In Dera Murad Jamali, the officials said, an air-conditioning compressor detonated at a policeman’s home, killing his wife and three children.

Meanwhile, police officer Shahid Abro, his wife and four children were injured in the accident and taken to a hospital in Sukkur for treatment in severe condition.

Information from local authorities shows that Abro’s wife, two boys and a daughter died while under medical treatment.

Abro, who was critically hurt in the blast, is still undergoing treatment in a hospital.

The reason of the explosion in the compressor was not immediately obvious. Police officer Shahid Abro, his wife and four children sustained injuries in the collision and were transferred to a hospital in Sukkur in severe condition.
