In Pictures: A chronology of events since Imran Khan’s arrest

Pakistan saw another episode of violent protests and demonstrations across the country following Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan’s arrest, which came as a major development in the country’s restive politics.

Imran Khan was whisked away by Rangers after his arrest in Islamabad High Court’s premises in Al-Qadir Trust corruption case, in a move warranted by National Accountability Bureau (NAB).

The event ensued clashes and incidents of violence countrywide as the supporters took to the streets on PTI leadership’s orders.

With the Pakistan Army, more than 1,100 kids from 13 educational institutions—including six local schools—had a memorable day.

Impressive live displays, like as tank movements, artillery drills, and anti-terrorism operations, were shown to the students.

Interacting with the students, the commanding general emphasized the vital role they will play in Pakistan’s future.

Teachers and students conveyed their sincere gratitude for this amazing experience and expressed their total satisfaction with the Pakistan Army’s professionalism and operational readiness.

banquet for the president of Belarus: The prime minister hosts a banquet for the president of Belarus.

A meal honoring Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko was held at Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s residence in Islamabad.

Federal cabinet members and members of the Belarusian mission also attended the banquet.

Prior to this, the prime minister greeted Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko as he arrived at his residence.

Operation Against Demonstrators: Gandapur, Bushra, and Naqvi on the Run

Bushra Bibi and Ali Amin Gandapur, the chief minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, “were on the run as of now,” according to Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, following the crackdown on the PTI demonstrators.

He told reporters at D-Chowk after midnight that the federal capital will be in a regular state and that the administration would take containers off the roads as soon as possible.

CCTV cameras will be used to help gather the data of the trouble makers.

Internet and mobile services would also be restored, he added.

For effectively managing the situation in Islamabad, Mohsin Naqvi expressed gratitude to the police and rangers.
