Pakistan’s diplomatic credibility was improved by Marka-e-Haq: Rizwan Saeed

Following the success of Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan’s international status and diplomatic credibility have greatly increased, according to Rizwan Saeed Sheikh, Pakistan’s ambassador to the United States.

In a special interview commemorating a year since Marka-e-Haq, the ambassador stated that Pakistan’s defense, diplomatic, and political strategies have made it a significant contributor to regional stability.

He claimed that whereas India reportedly made unfounded claims and participated in illegal activities, Pakistan promptly demanded a probe following the Pahalgam incident. He emphasized that Pakistan had cautioned against any adventurism in an area with nuclear weapons on several occasions.

Despite aggressiveness, Pakistan showed political, diplomatic, and military maturity, which raised its standing internationally, according to Rizwan Saeed Sheikh. He went on to say that although Pakistan spends far less on defense than India, its true power is found in its defense capabilities, commitment as a nation, and unity among its citizens.

He said that the efforts of former US President Donald Trump and his team were recognized worldwide and commended them for their contribution in advancing peace. He claimed that during Marka-e-Haq, Pakistan demonstrated its position on wisdom and facts, thus enhancing its reputation abroad.

To commemorate the anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, top civic and military leaders assemble at Pakistan Monument.

The envoy claimed that flaws in the Indian narrative had become apparent globally in the era of social media and global media. He continued by saying that while the world is still awaiting proof, Pakistan is still demanding evidence on the Pahalgam and Pulwama tragedies.

He claimed that using water as a weapon would be against international law and that the Indus Waters Treaty contains no provision permitting its suspension. He issued a warning that if Pakistan’s water or sovereignty are in danger, it will completely implement its right to self-defense.

He added that although Pakistan is still one of the nations most impacted by terrorism, its contribution to world peace is increasingly recognized, particularly among the Pakistani diaspora in the US, according to the Global Terrorism Index.

The idea of “Bunyan-un-Marsoos” won’t be fully realized until Pakistan’s economy is as powerful as its defense, according to Rizwan Saeed Sheikh. He exhorted Pakistanis living abroad to use unity and patriotism to support the growth of their country.
