In 58 intelligence-based operations, CTD apprehends 13 terrorists.

In response to concerns about terrorism, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) conducted 58 intelligence-driven operations in many Punjabi cities, leading to the arrest of 13 terrorists.

Operations were carried out in Lahore, Sahiwal, Multan, Jhelum, Mandi Bahauddin, Jhang, Chiniot, and Mianwali, according to a CTD spokesperson.

Mukhtar, a dangerous terrorist connected to “Fitna al-Khawarij,” was captured in Lahore.

Four IEDs, eight detonators, fifteen feet of safety fuse wire, banned stickers, books, and money were among the explosives found by the authorities.

Momin, Adnan, Ghulam Shabbir, Rao Sajid, Raja Faisal, Raza Khan, and Mukhtar Shah. The accused were preparing attacks on law enforcement facilities, according to officials.

The official also stated that 53,335 persons were questioned and 168 suspects were taken into custody during 1,487 combing operations this week.

CTD reaffirmed its determination to eradicate the threat of terrorism and its dedication to a safe Punjab.

This week, CTD Punjab captured 168 people, recovered explosives, stopped attacks on law enforcement, and arrested 13 terrorists in 58 intelligence-based operations.

The event happened in the Charsadda neighborhood of Parang Majuki.

Hangzhou will be the first stop on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif’s four-day tour to China.

On Saturday morning, PM Shehbaz Sharif’s aircraft departed from the PAF Base in Lahore.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Federal Minister of Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Minister of IT Shaza Fatima Khawaja, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, and Special Assistant Tariq Fatemi.

The Prime Minister will meet with the Zhejiang Province Communist Party Secretary in Hangzhou as per the visitation schedule. He will attend the ceremony for the exchanging of agreements and memorandums of understanding and take part in a business roundtable intended to foster collaboration between Chinese and Pakistani businesses under CPEC Phase 2.

Service between Rawalpindi and Islamabad had to be temporarily suspended after a metro bus caught fire on Saturday.
