Today, Wednesday, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is set to convene in order to view the Safar-ul-Muzaffar 1448 Hijri crescent. Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad will preside over it.

Before making an announcement, zonal moon-sighting committees will convene at their separate offices to gather and evaluate moon-sighting reports.
