Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has claimed that the party will surely march toward Islamabad on September 27, assuring that the gathering will stay peaceful.

“The doors for reconciliation have always been open,” Gohar said in a statement. The party will maintain a peaceful atmosphere throughout the event, he added, as the scheduled long march will be held on September 27.

“We will definitely reach Islamabad,” he claimed and said that the protracted march would reach the capital.

Stalls would be set up throughout the gathering, Barrister Gohar said, adding that the mood would be like a festival.

The PTI chairman also reaffirmed the party’s resolve to preserve peace during the planned demonstration.

Earlier, Barrister Gohar said that PTI was being provoked but it would not retaliate through violence.

Instead, he said, the party will continue to raise its voice for the rights of its founder and followers.

He also asked that PTI’s demands be pursued democratically and court decisions be implemented. He also raised doubts regarding the destruction of houses of party supporters, stating that people had the right to criticize such activities.

Intermediate Part-II yearly examination results have been revealed, with the success rate surpassing 64 percent in total.

The results show that a total of 189,373 students sat for the tests and 123,060 were deemed successful.

Other education boards of the country also revealed the results of Intermediate Part-II examinations and students of other boards grabbed the top positions.

The Intermediate Part-II results of Punjab boards of Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Multan, Gujranwala, Bahawalpur, Sahiwal and Dera Ghazi Khan have been announced. Position holders were also announced before the results.

The results include students who appeared in several Intermediate streams including FA, FSc, ICS and I.Com. Students can check individual results on the official websites of separate educational bodies.

The announcement represents a major academic milestone for students who wish to get admission to colleges and professional institutions across the country.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Wednesday reiterated strongest condemnation of recent Houthi attacks against Saudi Arabia, reaffirmed that Pakistan stood shoulder to shoulder with the Kingdom, unwaveringly, in safeguarding its sovereignty, security and sanctity of Islam’s holiest sites.

He said that the remarkable journey of progress and transformation of the Kingdom was a matter of pride and admiration not only for the Saudi nation but also for Pakistan.

The prime minister, who is currently in New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, said that under the dynamic and visionary leadership of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Saudi Arabia continued to make impressive strides towards greater prosperity, modernization and innovation.

He said, “Pakistan feels immense pride in its historic and time-tested brotherhood with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia based on faith, mutual trust and an abiding bond between our peoples.”

“Today, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, this brotherhood is developing into an even more solid strategic relationship, based on our common commitment to peace, security and the unity of the Muslim Ummah. He said: “We have together proudly put our signatures on the Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement and the Makkah Joint Defense Agreement.”

He concluded with the motto of “long live Pakistan-Saudi Arabia brotherhood” and prayed for the growth of Pakistan-Saudi Arabia brotherhood from strength to strength.
