Pakistan loses four wickets for 96 in the opening session of the Sylhet Test
On the second day of the second Test, Pakistan was in difficulty after losing four wickets in the morning session for 96 runs against Bangladesh on Sunday.
At 21, Pakistan continued their first innings without a loss. Taskin Ahmed made early progress in Pakistan’s innings by quickly dismissing both openers, leaving the visitors at 23-2.
After scoring nine runs, Abdullah Fazal was the first to go, followed by Azan Awais, who scored thirteen. Babar Azam and captain Shan Masood kept the innings steady, but the former was caught at covers off Mehidy Hasan Miraz for 21 runs at total 61.
Mehidy also claimed Saud Shakeel’s wicket for eight. Salman Ali Agha was batting on six and Babar was batting on 37 at lunch.
