On the first trading day of the week, Pakistan’s stock market reclaimed the 178,000-point milestone, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index rising more than 800 points in a positive trend.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange saw positive action at the beginning of trade, with the KSE-100 Index gaining by almost 800 points to reach 178,018 points.

At the conclusion of the previous trading session, the benchmark index closed at 177,166 points.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz, and PML-N leader Nawaz Sharif have all been endorsed by the PML-N Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Party.

Shah Ghulam Qadir presided over the parliamentary party meeting that took place here on Sunday. The parliamentary party pledged to implement concrete measures for the advancement of Azad Kashmir, the supremacy of the law and constitution, and the reinstatement of merit.

The parliamentary party declared its complete support for the activities of the Pakistan Armed Forces, led by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, and reaffirmed its adherence to the concept of accession to Pakistan and “Kashmir will become Pakistan.”
In addition to expressing happiness with Pakistan’s international recognition, the gathering stated that the next government will work hard to enhance the peace and law and order situation in Azad Kashmir.

The parliamentary party made the decision to create a comprehensive strategy for the welfare of the populace and to restart the halted construction and development process in Azad Kashmir.

The parliamentary party commended the Chief Election Commissioner and the administration for holding successful elections and expressed complete trust in the recent Azad Kashmir election process.

The PML-N Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Party urged the world community to pay attention to Indian war crimes in Occupied Kashmir and voiced worry over the situation in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

It said that in 2019, India unlawfully removed the special status of Occupied Kashmir and violated UN and Security Council resolutions.

According to the parliamentary party, the Kashmiri people’s fight for their right to self-determination is justifiable and nonviolent. It honours Kashmir’s unending struggle and unmatched sacrifices.

The PML-N Azad Kashmir Parliamentary Party reaffirmed its dedication to providing the Kashmiris with diplomatic, moral, and political support.

It stated that the Kashmir dispute should be settled in compliance with UN resolutions and criticised the US ambassador to India’s statement on the matter.

Hafiz Muhammad Tahir Mehmood Ashrafi, the Chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council and Secretary General of the International Tazeem-e-Haramain Sharifain Council, met with Sardar Muhammad Yousaf, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony, to discuss a variety of topics, such as the proposed International Seerat Conference, plans for the Hajj, and initiatives to foster interfaith and intrafaith harmony in the nation.

Ashrafi expressed gratitude to the Federal Minister and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony during the meeting for the preparations made for pilgrims during the previous Hajj and the efforts being made to facilitate travellers this year.

He stated that during the previous two years, the Ministry has improved services and facilities for pilgrims doing the Hajj in a significant and praiseworthy way.

Speaking about the International Seerat Conference, Ashrafi expressed confidence that it would offer a constructive, practical, and all-encompassing roadmap to address issues facing Pakistan’s youth and the Muslim world in the context of the Seerah of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).

In order to advance interfaith and intrafaith peace, religious tolerance, and national unity throughout the nation, the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee and the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith peace further strengthened coordination and cooperation.

Sardar Muhammad Yousaf expressed gratitude to Ashrafi for his visit and acknowledged the importance of the Pakistan Ulema Council and the National Paigham-e-Aman Committee in fostering tolerance, national unity, and harmony across and among religions.

The Federal Minister honoured religious leaders and groups for their ongoing efforts to promote harmony, respect, and peaceful cohabitation throughout the nation.
