Pakistan Air Force Day is being marked today (Monday) to pay honor to the martyrs and ghazis of Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

7th September 1965 War, PAF personnel crafted a story of daring and valor that has stood the test of time.

Pakistan Air Force scored a devastating setback on the enemy in Marka-e-Haq. The heroism and professional record of PAF continues to be a proud piece of Pakistan’s history.

PAF guarded air space of Pakistan and its national security. PAF has gained the confidence of the population because of its professionalism, discipline and devotion to the defense of the country.

The dedication and expertise of PAF members during the fight continues to inspire, and paid tribute to the martyrs and ghazis whose service remains an example of sacrifice and service.

PAF performed significant roles of Marka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyanum Marsoos. Its alertness and professional capacity helped to safeguard the sovereignty and airspace of Pakistan.

Nation with its armed forces guards the protection of the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

It seeks the elevation of the martyrs, the protection of the veterans and the success of the officers and personnel of the PAF.

The qualified pilots of the Pakistan Air Force neutralized the Indian numerical superiority through great operational preparation and combat strategy.

Several enemy aircraft were destroyed on the ground in the raid on Pathankot Air Base under the leadership of Air Commodore Sajjad Haider.

On Sargodha battlefield, Squadron Leader MM Alam shot down 5 enemy combat planes in less than 1 minute.

Pakistan Air Force inflicted crushing loss on enemy in Marka-e-Haq. The heroism and professional record of PAF continues to be a proud piece of Pakistan’s history.

PAF safeguarded Pakistan’s airspace and its security. PAF has earned the trust of the public for its professionalism, discipline and devotion to the defense of the country.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar had a telephone chat with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty,” a statement issued here said on Sunday.

The two foreign ministers reviewed bilateral relations between Pakistan and Egypt and exchanged perspectives on regional and international trends, particularly issues relating to regional security.

The Egyptian foreign minister has invited Ishaq Dar for a bilateral visit to Egypt at his earliest convenience.

PSX loses 175,000-point level amid selling pressure

Pakistan’s stock market entered a negative trend during the first trading day of the week, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index dropping more than 800 points to drop below the 175,000-point barrier.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange kicked off on a sour note in early trade with the index down 285 points to 174,470 points.

The KSE-100 Index had finished at 175,328 points on the penultimate trading day of the week gone by.
