After a dumper killed a motorcyclist on a road close to Korangi Market 6, people set it on fire.

Rescue reports claim that an unidentified motorcyclist was riding a bike when he was fatally struck by a carelessly driven dumper. After being notified, police arrived at the scene of the accident and began their investigation after transporting the deceased to a hospital.

The incident prompted spectators to stage a demonstration against the city’s increasing number of accidents, especially those involving dumpers and motorcyclists. They burned the dumper out of rage and requested that the district administration regulate accidents and set a time for dumpers to enter the road.

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar had a telephone chat with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty,” a statement issued here said on Sunday.

PSX loses 175,000-point level amid selling pressure

Pakistan’s stock market entered a negative trend during the first trading day of the week, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index dropping more than 800 points to drop below the 175,000-point barrier.

The Pakistan Stock Exchange kicked off on a sour note in early trade with the index down 285 points to 174,470 points.

The KSE-100 Index had finished at 175,328 points on the penultimate trading day of the week gone by.
