Sania Ashfaq levelled new claims against ex-husband Imad Wasim

Digital media personality Sania Ashfaq, former wife of Pakistani cricketer Imad Wasim, has made new claims about their married life, including her ex-husband’s aggressive conduct, mental stress and lack of attention towards their children.

Sania Ashfaq, in a fresh post uploaded on Instagram, said that she was subjected to a lot of mental stress and domineering behaviour throughout marriage.

She further alleged that Imad Wasim is not inclined to meet or communicate with the children and is not willing to bear their expenditures whilst she is still working to get custody of the children.

In her statement, Sania said that Imad continues to make public statements even after all that she and her children went through. She further alleged he lied to her during her pregnancy and his domineering attitude made her life a misery.

Sania also revealed Imad Wasim was detained in the UK in July 2025 for claims of domestic violence and said there were fears he planned to take her away from the children. She added that his family had pressured her to retract her comments and this had led to social services getting involved.

She said social workers asked Imad recently whether he wanted to speak to his children but he allegedly did not respond. Sania said he does not want to meet the children nor talk to them but continues to cause problems for her in the custody issues. She stated she will continue to protect her children and hopes the truth concerning their abuse will ultimately emerge.

In the meantime, Imad Wasim has also reacted publicly on the topic.

The cricketer in an Instagram story gave what he called a final warning and said he divorced Sania for personal reasons and that chapter of his life is now ended.

Imad said his new wife Naila Raja should not be brought into the scandal since she has nothing to do with the conflict and she entered his life after the divorce.

He appealed to his ex-wife to embrace reality and end what he called a series of public dramas, saying this would be the last time he would speak publicly on the issue.

Both sides have made allegations which are claims and counter claims and have not been independently verified.

Three Palestinians killed in Israeli attack on car in central Gaza Strip

Three Palestinians were killed and numerous others wounded in an Israeli strike on a car in central Gaza Strip.

Palestine’s Ministry of the Interior and National Security condemned the incident, which happened Friday in the Maghazi refugee camp in Deir el-Balah, stating the victims were all police personnel.

“Their vehicle was treacherously bombed by the Israeli occupation forces,” a ministry statement posted on Telegram claimed.

The three dead were identified as Captain Mansour Sami Shahtout, Captain Mohammed Khaled Nofal and First Sergeant Mahdi Nader Jabr.

Wafa news agency stated the strikes targeted a truck near the entrance to the Maghazi refugee camp, while Anadolu news agency reported an Israeli combat drone launched at least two missiles at the vehicle, sparking a fire that killed and injured people.

Video witness testimonies revealed a civilian vehicle on fire after being struck on Salah al-Din Street near the entrance to Maghazi camp.

The bodies were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir el-Balah, reports said.

The Ministry of Interior said in a statement that the occupation’s horrific crime against civil police troops, is an act that shows its desire to cause unrest in the Gaza Strip, condemning it.

It restated its “call on the international community and the guarantor states of the ceasefire agreement to put pressure on the occupying forces to cease their repeated targeting of the police force, its personnel and its resources.”

In Gaza, the US-brokered “ceasefire” deal has been in place since October 10, 2025, but violations continue to be reported around the territory, with Israel continuing its attacks.

GAZA ‘CEASEFIRE’ DEVELOPMENTS

As ground attacks continue, Hamas said it was in talks with other Palestinian factions and regional mediators to seek understandings that would assure complete execution of the Gaza “ceasefire” deal.

“These discussions are about the full implementation of the ceasefire agreement including what remains of the first phase and the mechanisms for implementing the second phase,” Hazem Qassem, a spokesman for Hamas, told Anadolu on Friday.

He noted that a delegation from Hamas and other Palestinian factions is due in Cairo in the next few days to respond to fresh proposed methods.

Qassem said Palestinian factions had established understandings that were accepted by mediators, before Board of Peace envoy Nikolay Mladenov put forward what he called “different approaches” that Hamas and the factions are currently reviewing finally.

“We hope that the efforts of the mediators and Mr. Mladenov will make the occupation to implement what was agreed on, especially the humanitarian aspects of the first phase, then to go to the second phase with all its complications,” Qassem added.

“Israel continues to commit major and ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement, including restrictions on humanitarian aid and continuing killings,” Qassem said.

He told Anadolu that Israel has widened the “yellow line” into new regions of Gaza, with displacement and demolitions of homes, and that more than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire went into effect.

“These violations require, on the one hand, a clear position from the mediators to pressure the occupation, and on the other, serious work to bring the national committee to Gaza so that a real relief and reconstruction process can start,” he said.

We don’t want the repetition of the starvation regime forced on our people while the world watches and does nothing. “Killing and destruction cannot continue while the world watches,” he continued. An Israeli strike on a car in the central Gaza Strip killed three Palestinians and wounded several more.
